Can the radio and other electronics get wet?

I've heard of some issues with the clock spring in the steering column, but not much else. It's the only part I cover when the inside gets the hose.

Will new PCM have to have SKIM turned off separately?

It took. Thanks. We bought the 05 LJ used for my wife a while back with only one key. I made three extra copies of my 04 key and have never lost one. I was pretty sure the SKIM could be re-pair to the PCM, but I'm hoping I can get it completely reset so I can get two individually program...

SIA electronics for ECM / PCM / ECU repair?

The battery tested a hair low and failed at the parts store at load. It was several years old, so I swapped it out a few back just before I parked the jeep for a bunch of other work. Will new PCM have to have SKIM turned off separately?

A new PCM may be in the future for my son's SKIM'd 05 LJ. However they do it, it appears the rebuilt PCMs come with SKIM disabled. Does anyone (@mrblaine) know how capable the average dealer is in re-enabling SKIM? If they can, will it require the two keys to do so? We bought this jeep used...

SIA electronics for ECM / PCM / ECU repair?

Thanks. I'll keep him in mind. I have a generic P0700 plus P0562 to go along with the O2 errors. Shifting issues as well. Others around the boards have report similar issues as a bundle. This is actually my son's jeep (he has mine), so I can't leave him hung out to dry. The part that...

SIA electronics for ECM / PCM / ECU repair?

bmpcamry09, I'm going through the same headache myself. One repair shop found nothing wrong, re-flash the PCM, and the errors popped back. I've ruled out all the wiring, connectors, PCM plugs etc. Quick question. When you said SIA replaced the O2 driver, do you know if it was a...
