Using JL wheels on a TJ

My issue wasn’t necessarily the thread size It was the fact that I couldn’t find Lugnuts large enough in 1/2x 20 for me to feel there was enough contact with the wheel.

    Simple tweaks with big changes

E rated tires would be ridiculously stiff on a Jeep. I have them on my 3/4 & 1 ton vans but why would someone put them on a light Jeep?

    Simple tweaks with big changes

Today I took care of a couple issues that have been bothering me since I got my jeep back from the shop. They were: 1) Rough shifting. I got a new clutch installed and it improved significantly but it still seemed a little rough mainly between second and third. So I read through the forums and...

    Wheel adapter advice

I just put those exact wheels on my 2000 TJ. What year is yours? You definitely need wheel spacers with the M 14 studs on it. Please do not use the half inch. Someone on here posted a thread about what you exactly need for the proper wheel spacers. If you cannot find it I can try to dig it up...

    Wheel adapter advice

What are the wheels you’re installing? Do you have a picture? Because if you are installing wheels from the JL you need to M14 Lugnuts on the other side not the 1/2”.

    Wheel adapter advice

Are you sure you ordered the proper adapters? Does definitely look dangerous to me. I have adapters on mine and they look nothing like that.

Using JL wheels on a TJ

Thank you for the post! I was looking all over the Internet to take try to find help people solved the issue that I ran into getting wheels/tires off a 2020 gladiator to put on my 2000 TJ. I first grabbed the standard inch and a quarter wheel adapter off Amazon and went to install it and...

    Thoughts on Terraflex 4” lift?

It is probably only for 4 since the spare is under the bed so he probably left it. I’m currently still looking for just one wheel for my spare. Last I checked there was another set on the Market place for $1000 in the Salem area. Unfortunately they are the a/t falcons not the m/t

    Thoughts on Terraflex 4” lift?

They are off a 2020 Gladiator. I saw them and fell in love with them. Probably not another tj in Salem with them on! Also got a good deal on them off the Marketplace.

    Thoughts on Terraflex 4” lift?

I went ahead and picked up the terraflex kit. I got it for $800 so I couldn’t pass it up. Grabbed some rancho 5000x and will order the jks front and rear track bars. Also got a sye and getting cv driveline shortly. Probably not what I should be spending my money on right now. But I can’t leave...

    Thoughts on Terraflex 4” lift?

I see your profile says you have a 3 1/2 inch Rubicon express and a body lift. Is that still what you have? And if so what are your thoughts on the RE brand?

    Thoughts on Terraflex 4” lift?

Fair enough question. It is for a weekend trail rig, here in the Pacific Northwest probably more trails and mud and less on the rocks. I’m not saying I want to throw a rough country lift on it, but I also would prefer not to have to spend $4k as well. That is one reason I was leaning towards the...
