I did a few trips to both North and South Padre Islands in my younger days when I was stationed in Texas 😁 How far out do they schedule launches and where do they post it up?

My family would very very much want to see a launch. How would you recommend going about it? Especially considering weather cancellations and what not. Also having to travel from the East coast.
