Ok guys ive been away for a while working on a home office for the wife and havent messed with the tj. After getting the radiator replaced with a mopar radiator and replacing the trans cooler hoses i messed up replacing the radiator i was test running it in the shop to check for leaks and it...

Anyone have a part number for replacement trans cooler lines for a 00. Or an alternative to the oem lines. Having trouble finding lines for it

Welcome to the forums and your new addiction. I am also a first time jeep owner(almost a year now) and cant believe ive waited this long to get one. If you know which speedo gear you need let me know. I have a couple extras.

Fixed the speedo issue but CEL still on. Unable to clear with my code reader. Throwing 0500 code even after replacing the speed sensor

Made the 1st test drive and started putting break in miles on it today. Feels so good to be driving it again. Speedometer isnt working and a cel is on. Code shows vss. Guess that explains why the speedo isnt working.

I have to check and see. I may have the bumpers but not the bolts. Just checked. Here is what i have.

I was able to resplice it. Thanks everyone. Just need to bleed my brakes and i can drive it again. Been out of commission since october

Got my new tom woods shaft installed and all my brake lines ran. Getting closer to being back on the road. Just a couple small things left to fix. Is this sensor needed because the wires broke when i was putting the engine back in the heep

Well a part i thought was a minor thing ended up being not so minor. I went to install my new rear driveshaft i bought with my sye and it is short. I called rough country and they told me it has been over 90 days so they cant exchange it. Guess i will be selling the RC shaft and get a Tom Woods...

Got it almost all back together. Still a few minor things to do before i can drive it but the new engine is running! Finally

Made a little more progress on the jeep. Still a long way to go before its back on the road but the engine is in atleast. I got the drivers side step bar on but not the passenger side because the middle body mount bolt broke. Anyone have an easy way to get it out?

Finally got around to taking off the angle iron front bumper and fou d a little damage to the frame horn. Nothing too major but 1 more thing to fix on this damn TJ

Has anyone ever used header wrap on the stock exhaust manifolds to keep down heat? I have my engine out and was wondering if its worth the hassle and money to do it before putting it back in the jeep

Are gladiators allowed in this thread? This is the kind of crap i see where i live.

I am putting JKR wheels with 305/70/17 tures on my TJ that has 3.5" metalcloak lift. I ordered the 1.25" adapters and i have all kinds of rubbing issues so i just ordered these 2" adapters today hopefully they work. I love the way the wheels look so im really hoping they fit with the new adapters
