SOLD 5x Sahara Wheels w/ Newer 31" Cooper Discoverer AT3 Tires

After upgrading to new wheels & 33s, I have 5 original 97 Sahara wheels with 5 Cooper Discoverer 31x10.5 XLT tires for sale. The tires were installed for just over 15,000 miles. No leaks, plugs, etc. in like new shape. The wheels are pretty average for the age.

Here are some pictures of the exhaust manifold repair and other progress items. - Completed the 100 AH lithium iron phosphate battery system. Features a 300 watt pure sine inverter, 30 amp DC-DC charger (connected to starter battery), and solar charging from the 100w panel on my Garvin rack...

Hey Wildman, I think I'm just going to put in the Super 35 and not worry about it. I have a guy named Chris down in Oregon (Gresham?) who has done diff work for me in the past. Bones Custom 4x4 is the name of the shop. I think 33" is as large as I'll go as the cost seems to skyrocket after that...

Washington Sahara Moss Green Pearl Full Door Set w/ Saddle Panels, Complete

Hi all, Recently purchased half doors and am making the switch. As such, my full doors are up for sale. Last summer, I went through and adjusted / cleaned all of the linkages and mechanisms, as well as replacing the interior door handles. So everything works nicely. The interior panels have the...

SOLD Rancho Shocks + H&R Springs, Lightly Used

Hi all, I installed these Rancho RS5000X shocks and H&R 52107 springs in March of 2021 and removed them this week. I put roughly 4,000 miles on the set. Just installed a taller lift kit and didn't want to toss a good suspension set. Also includes (but not pictured) a MOOG steering damper...

Progress has been slow-going, thanks to other projects. - Installed new Corbeau seats. My first set arrived with rips. The seat brackets are, quite frankly, a rip-off for what they are and the annoying method of install. If I were any taller, I'd forego them somehow. Keeping the passenger...

Appreciate the feedback! Have been busy, but managed to get some work done and go on a few camping trips since my last post. I waited 6 months for my Gobi rack with no updates before finally getting in touch with the owner on Instagram and being allowed to cancel without the $500 fee. Another 2...

    ARB compressor options

Nuts. I just bought mine in February. I second the "tear it down" suggestion. The manual has a really nice exploded diagram of parts along with part numbers. Might have some luck? if it's the CKMA12, here's the manual I use: https://www.arb.com.au/assets/air-lockers/3-04.pdf

    ARB Pressure Switch

I just checked the switch that came with my CKMA12 and 70/100 are its thresholds. I'd be willing to bet it's fine on the slightly smaller CKSA as well.

Started cleaning my frame up a bit and want to make sure what I'm doing is okay

Almost looks like someone applied Eastwood coating on the outside of it. Similar color. Lucky bastard, though.

Installed an ARB CKMA12 compressor on the ABS tray today. Bigger pain in the ass than you'd expect, included mounting hardware sucked and the nuts stripped. Working on my harness, but tested it out OK.

Leveled and 32s with H&R springs and Bilstein 5100s

Thanks for following up. I started my TJ research with old threads so I love when there's a lot of information! My light googling shows your Falkens are 31.7" actual diameter. I'm running Cooper AT3s in 31x10.5, which are only 30.2" tall. They were brand new on my rig when I bought it or I'd...

Leveled and 32s with H&R springs and Bilstein 5100s

It looks great! I have the same setup with 31 x 10.5s. Really no rub concerns? Two washers on the steering stops for me due to lower control arm rubbing with mine.. I will say that for future folks reading this- I think the rear is a bit lower with a hardtop and gear. I’ll probably add 3/4”...

    54,214 miles for 12k

Either the link is broken or it's gone already! That's a deal. @ 138 my 97 Sahara was 10k in WA.

Alright. About that leak. The majority of it was coming from the door seal itself. - Replaced steering damper (the only thing that leaks on this other than the doors) - Replaced door seal on driver and passenger doors. - Replaced seal on bottom of liftgate glass. - Replaced liftgate glass...

Gray to Tan Interior: Can Anyone Recommend a Good Paint?

Another vote for SEM. I used an off the shelf color, Camel- and it looks great with the rest of my Spice dash. in this photo, the center console, handle, glove box, and airbag cover have been painted with SEM adhesion promoter followed by the paint. The speaker grille piece is original. Slight...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Rancho 5ks and H&R 1” lift springs - classic combo from the forum. Definitely need to add a .75” or 1” spacer in rear, but waiting on my rack and other gear to determine exact height. Ride quality is excellent in comparison - two of my old Monroe shocks were completely blown out.

Any preferred lift gate glass suppliers?

After reading and watching about liftgate hinge replacements and seeing multiple reports of shattering the liftgate glass... I was extra careful (I’m aware of the ~4 ft lb for glass to hinge and ~8 ft lb to hardtop specs)..... and still shattered the glass trying to get the hinge just tight...

Drove it home and started stripping the interior and replacing parts. Photo dump below. - Sold the bench seat, rear seat belts, and associated brackets. One bolt sheared off but the others came out no problem. - Gave away the rusty "trunk" divider. - Removed and trashed the original carpet, it...
