    SOLD Savvy LED Taillights

Savvy Tails - in good working and physical condition. I've decided to go with the QT LED tails so that I can put my license plate back to the factory location. I really want to hook up my backup camera and the spot in the center of the tire carrier is really the only good option (so I back up to...

Did something stupid... bought a 1990 Sea Nymph SC 175

If anyone has seen by bass-fishing post, you'd know that I've taken it up recently. While I've been a fisherman for a long time, bass fishing was something I never got into. I never had any friends that were big into it, I never had any luck at lakes or rivers (sea bass being the exception), and...

What is your philosophy of life?

Well said @Zorba! I get a kick when Christians suggest that "morals" are somehow inherent to Christianity, despite >2000 years of evidence to the contrary. Though, when you think about it, it isn't very surprising; many of the folks that suggest we "put the Christ back in Christmas" don't...

    Any bass fisherman on here?

When I was younger, I lived in NYC. My dad's high school buddy was the first-mate on a fishing boat. I have to dig through some of the other old photos, but I'm fairly certain that it was the "Queen Mary" out of Sheepshead Bay. We fished tons - almost every weekend when the weather cooperated...

    PGA Tour vs LIV

I was an all-state high school lineman since sophomore year, winner of multiple statewide awards, went to a D1AA school on a full scholarship and was quite successful... I find golf more challenging than I ever did football (and have been playing since HS) ;)

    2022 NY International Auto Show

Jeep had a fairly neat exhibit at the 2022 NYIAS this year. While most mfg's were happy to show off their newest EVs on a short course inside the Javits Center, Jeep had a few 4xe models (and a few 392's!!) running laps around their mobile obstacle course outside. The exhibit was visible from...

    PC1P's 2006 Jeep LJ Build - Brünhilde

To be fair, I took a lot of awful photos early in my photography life... learning the differences between what the eyes see and what the camera can capture (film or digital) takes some time for sure. Learning how to make those manipulations to capture the composition and exposure you want is...

    PC1P's 2006 Jeep LJ Build - Brünhilde

Haven't posted much about the Jeep because, well, there isn't much going on with it. Driving it all winter has proven it to be much smoother and more stabile than I expected in icy conditions, despite the relatively small WB and high CoG. I even took her out after a heavy ice storm (to check on...

Many of us do too, though I think it's for different reasons than yours... :ROFLMAO:

    Help with Gears and Lockers

I use Timken, Koyo and SKF and all have been solid. Just make sure you get a duplicate set if you're going to make set-up bearings (you don't want to use a different MFG bearing for a setup than the bearings you're going to use in your final install).

    Help with Gears and Lockers

I still think you're gonna want more than 4.56 gearing on 33"s in the sand, but you do you... And if I'm waiting on gears and MIK, I'd be waiting for a set of Revos rather than Yukons (based on my install of 3 Yukon sets the past 2 years).

    Brake pedal click when releasing

To confirm, you're hearing a sound when you take your foot OFF the brake pedal (after pressing it in?)?

Motor Mount Spacer vs Motor Mount Lift

I think the current consensus is that OEM Mopar motor mounts + the MML spacers are the best option. I think the Rough Country versions are the cheapest around (and it makes no sense going high end for a few pieces of steel bar).

Florida The move to Florida is on!

Good luck Jerry - we did the cross-country move back in June. It was a TON of work ahead of time but it's very exciting so it comes and goes quickly. We didn't bring much furniture since ours were old, albeit in nice shape. We sold a lot of it on CL/FB Marketplace and with yard sales. Just put...

Has Anyone Installed a High Beam Foot Switch?

That's mainly what I remember about them... all my Dodges and dad's Ford from the 70-80's that had the foot dimmer always needed to be replaced at least one during the winter, sometimes even twice. Salt-covered work boots, perpetually wet carpet, and copper wire and contacts don't go together as...

Has Anyone Installed a High Beam Foot Switch?

Having moved back to the country myself, I find myself using high beams a lot more. That said, I still find the stalk-switch easier to use while driving. My left leg is often using the clutch, especially up and down the rolling hills of PA... with my hand on the steering wheel, I barely have to...
