Sorry meant to add should I stay looking at Dana 44s or do a 44/60 combo since only 37s with the torque of the Hemi and 37s not sure if their may be any issues

Trying to decide on new axles

I do currently have stockish 2005 Rubicon dana 44's 5.13s and couple heavier duty control arm brackets and a brake upgrade. So I have a Gen 3 Hemi/5 spd sitting in the garage to go in at some point. So 340hp. I also plan on 37s I want a wider track width 65-68" and better break options jk...

My 2005 is doing the same thing right now when i"m running 70mph on the highway. just got back from a small trip I havent found the problem yet so not sure if small leak since mine does it under stress load on the highway at 2500+ rpm

    New shocks or relocate?

The axle part wouldnt be my problem. It's just getting the jeep high enough and get on jack stands. I put the jack stands next to the rear lower control arm on the frame. I have 6 ton jack stands and still use a 5"thick cement block under that to get high enough. So getting it raised that high...

    New shocks or relocate?

I have a cheesy beam attachment from harbor freight for the floor jack. The center bolt isnt long enough on those to do enough threads and it fell over yesterday. So I need to get a different setup.

    New shocks or relocate?

didnt mean id go all the way up..just a little easier to get tires off the floor then lower to put the front down.

    New shocks or relocate?

nope..lol I want a mechanics lift to make life easier vs doing on the ground. I need a better setup for a floor jack. as luckily already had jack stands under frame yesterday when jeep fell off the jack. As I have to use blocks to get high enough to get tires off the ground

    New shocks or relocate?

I just did a small articulation test in my front yard. as I have a pretty good size ditch. and keep one side on the driveway. at both front and rear I will have the shocks fully extended. the compression is still good at anytime still have a good amount of travel about 2 inches. I need to...

    New shocks or relocate?

I got tired today after doing metalcloak arms and the rear springsI just know and can easily tell my current ones are way too short for travel.

    New shocks or relocate?

There site is weird. the RS7062 says 5" lift but yet has almost exact same travel as the RS55256 that they say 3.5" lift. but 3" more than my current shocks

    New shocks or relocate?

So I have the rancho I think the rs55241 but I just put taller springs in the rear. so the down travel is not enough (i'm at 4.5") is there a shock relocation that would move the shock up enough, I only looks like the relocations move rearward vs up. or should I just buy new rear shocks...

    4.5 lift on short arms?

Still running stock location skid plate. I think rear might go to 4.5 or 4.75 total lift vs 5 or more but may do a 1" body lift. I had just bought new motor mounts from brown dog...would have to buy the 1" ones now.
