Questions about tube fenders / flat fenders

With it being a trail rig only and not worried about looks I would look at doing a hi-line conversion on the stock fender. That should gain you a good bit of clearance.

Tire advice for inspections in PA

Just one of the many reasons I dislike this state. Ive was given a hard time at several inspection stations out first year here but once I found a shop that would pass my rig I’ve never had an issue on the road. I’m running the 4” metalcloak system with 33x12.50 tires.

    PA state inspection

Moved up here from Indiana (where we didn’t have inspections and you could get by with pretty much anything). I had to find a garage last year that would slide be through. Axle swap help: Selling stock Rubicon axles and swapping in D60s

From what I’ve seen you’ll want to look into the kingpin Dana 60 HP out of an F250 (2005 and newer I think) and a 14B in the year with 5.38’s for gearing to turn those big meats! I’m collecting parts to swap JK Dana 44’s in my TJ to run 37’s and just picked up some 5.13 gears on the cheap.

    Cutting stock bumper?

I just used a grinder and cut-off wheel to do the cutting on mine the took advantage of some shop tools to break a couple pieces for end caps and welded up all of the holes. Then coated in in self etching primer and bedliner. It’ll do for now
