Did you put a new throwout bearing in it?

Sounds more like a trans or clutch issue than a bearing. Make noise with the clutch pedal pressed down or just idling clutch out?

These are 33's on 17" with 2.5 lift and 1.25 body lift. Don't do any hard core rock bashing but they work fine for what I do. 4:56 gears too. Sounds prettu much like what you were planning. If I was bashing, I'd go to 15's with beater rims.

Mounted these in the corners of the dash. Pretty happy with them. Hacked the mounts out of some aluminum.

What motor mounts did you get? I just installed Brown dog and were a pita. Do the mounts first and then the lift.

Running 1 1/4 hub centric adapter/spacers and work fine.

I've built turbo motors and heat is the killer. Being in muck up to the axles or slugging up a hill in 90 degree heat would scare me. I will keep the old 4.0 hammer vs the turbo sewing machine. And I love my turbo cars.

Talk to your engine builder. More than once I have had someone bring me a pile of parts that were expensive but useless and made them cry with the news.Most OEM stuff works well for an OEM build.
