    Lift control arms

I think you’re on the edge of an expensive slippery slope. ;) You need to spend some time on this site looking at what it takes to go from stock to reliably running 35s before thinking about that. If you just want the look of a lifted Jeep, I'd recommend keeping it simple and smaller, with 2-3"...

    Harland Sharp Roller Rockers

There's also a valve cover spacer. If you want the baffle back, you have two options; 1 - OEM cover with spacer or 2 - taller aftermarket cover with baffle.

Small body rust, can I fix it myself?

Maybe @NashvilleTJ knows a shop or two to recommend?

Small body rust, can I fix it myself?

I'm all for learning how to do things, but that's likely for the best here. Keep in mind, this is not an area to bargain-basement shop. If I was you, I'd get a couple estimates from different shops, including a Jeep dealer. Be ready for a little sticker shock. Not knowing your local rates, I'd...

Small body rust, can I fix it myself?

For reference, here's some rust on my truck that has recently been fixed. The main/visible rust area was probably 5" wide by 2" tall. The area cut out was probably 18" long by 6" tall. In addition, we found that the inner wheel well has started rusting through. The area that had to be...

Small body rust, can I fix it myself?

It's not as small as you think. If that is what you can see on the outside, the rusted area is most likely the size of what I colored below. It will have to be cut out and a patch welded in to be done correctly. Just because of the location, the rust is most likely deeper in and effecting...

Split window, so I know it's a pre '53, but what's that little intake looking thing on the front fender?

That's a beautiful truck. Stock or mild custom, they look great to me. (y)

    97 TJ axle questions

I went the Super35 route. I'm happy with it. Here's a parts/cost thread I made that might help you understand what parts are needed. https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/super-35-cost.69877/

Sometimes you east coast guys have it easy

Here in the humid Southeast, we have plenty of that, too. From an auction I was at yesterday. Leave something sitting for a few years and you wind up with something like this. (that's all lichen, not rust)

    E15 yay?

108, who are you getting that from? I have several stations around me now selling 89 and 93 non ethanol, so I'm good to go, but I do have one car that needs a higher octane which has become impossible to find without buying race gas. We do have one station with a pump selling Rockett Brand 100...

Beautiful car, but I’m not sure how I reel about the post removal. Maybe it's because it's a new look for me, but it almost looks like the top is too long now.

Been Thinking About Buying A TJ

So even a Dr couldn't afford a TJ for more than 5 years. :sneaky: Looks like a nice Jeep. (y)

    News + current events

Curiosity, about how much time would it take for one of those planes taxing to come to a complete stop or turn in a situation like that? As big as they are, I can't imagine they're nimble.

This '39 Buick haunts my friend. He built it for a customer nearly 30 years ago, and it just keeps coming back to him. I asked him if he wants me to bury him in it.

That's something we don't have to worry much about here with our "antique" rides. For a vehicle made before '68, tagged and insured with working lights is about it. From '68 to vehicles that are 25 years old, we have to meet seat belt requirements that were in place when the vehicle was built.
