    Sounds about right. If you're planning on doing any offloading at all, I'd go ahead and save up for some lockers so you're not paying for the same work twice.

    I get by pretty good with my 2" and 33s. Some occasional fender flare rub at full stuff, but those will be replaced anyway. If you go any higher you need a sye and drive shafts.

    Let it dry, go through all the connectors and hit them with some compressed air to get all the junk out. That's likely your problem. Let us know how it goes!

    D-Ring receiver hitch safe?

    You can use the hitch as a recover point. I just run the strap in the empty hitch and use the hitch pin. Probably not the BEST practice, but it's dead center, attached to the frame, and hasn't given me any problems yet.

    I've got a 2000 4.0 with the 5spd manual on 33s. Bought it that way I regeared from 3.73 to 4.88 about two weeks ago and had no idea how much power i was missing having the stock gears on there. Works WORLDS better on the rocks too. Id say go for it.

    I can't speak to the specified lift, but I've had the 2" BDS lift for about 2 years or so and I love it. Their no questions asked warranty is awesome too.
