So I figured out the noise is not coming from the tranny. My flywheel is trashed. The rubber is dry rotted and the cause of the loud noise I’ve been hearing. The OEM flywheel is almost $700 and so is aftermarket. Does anyone know of any less expensive options? Possibly a single mass conversion...

That’s exactly what I have but with 54k on it now. For a cruiser, I have no complaints. I get in it and don’t expect to get anywhere fast. I just enjoy the ride. Although, we are the original owners so I know it has maintained. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ended up getting a pair of JBLs (GX600C). I tested quite a few out and I like these the best. They don’t hit like a woofer, but didn’t sound like they were suffocating at higher volume. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
