sooooo the PO I think changed the case. It does not have an SYE BUT should the case have a blue gear on the shaft? I cannot find it in the parts breakdown but I do see it when people add a SYE

Hello, I picked up a '99 TJ and the speedo does not read. It is definitely an issue within the case or the speedo gear (or shaft). If I put a drill on the end of the VSS the speedo will work. The previous owner changed the transfer case and I am wondering if the speedo gear shaft is too...
