Hey! I did. I have another post that got very long (100+ replies I believe). To summarize, it was an issue with a ground wire that broke near the transmission, in combination with an intermittently working ignition switch.

Or I guess I won’t be replacing the switch. The one I waited a long time for isn’t even close to being correct.

BIG UPDATE!! There appears to be no less than THREE separate issues on this Jeep that are causing what I am chasing down. For the heck of it, I popped the ignition switch out and tried starting it with a screwdriver. It fired right up! It did not do that before we found the ground issue at...

Suggestion...do you have a neighbor with another multimeter you could compare results with? With another meter we could quickly see if there's any discrepancy between the two...there will be some... I just got out of my meetings. I'm going to go run and buy a new one.

I also need to clarify then that the 0.07 ohms of resistance that I was reporting earlier is wrong. If I put it on the 200 ohm setting, it reads as 74 ohms.

Well that would be my inexperience and not fully understanding how to read it. I thought I had read online that there was still a multiplication needed for2 200, but I likely read that wrong. I'm sorry for causing us extra work. How you read it on the screen is how it is when it is hooked...

Went and did one more test to try and rule things out before I let it sit for a bit and focus on work. With the ground wire at C154 attached, I get a reading of 0.4 or 0.5 at the 200 setting, so 40-50 ohms. This reading is testing resistance from G105 to the BR/LB wire at the PDC. With the...

I did have power to the relay and starter solenoid, yes. Post 16 and 21 are where directions were given and my steps taken to ensure I had power to the relay. Then by grounding the relay to the negative post of the battery, posts 34 and 35, I could start it from the ignition. I feel like it...

That is frayed wire. It's the black wire in the back of the C154 connector by the transmission. As you read further you'll see pictures of the two ends of the black wire in one of my most recent pictures. I hoped reattaching that would solve all the issues. Sadly it did not.

Sorry to reply in such small increments, but I’m squeezing quick tests in around work tasks. Just a quick run to the garage and then back upstairs to my desk. I reconnected the two black wire ends at C154 and tested resistance across pins 1 and 3. Looks like it could be an issue?
