Just a note i have the OME springs, when i took off the front set i noticed one was about 3/8'' higher than the other, i've used the ACOS adjustable coil over system to level it out now but mine are probably 10 years old and came with the car when i bought it.

I normally use the Mopar one its about $30 a go, probably got 1 years warranty haha, don't think theres any shorts more like its getting damp, i've seen a Chinese copy one for $6 on ebay might try that if the OEM only last a year.
