    New Truck Discussion

I'm happy with my pull out mirrors... and is that light new to Dodge? My 2019 GMC has em... love them when loading/unloading in the dark.

    New Truck Discussion

I used to carry 4x8 sheets in my GMC Canyon Long Bed like that. It had a nearly 6' bed though so sheets barely hung past my partially lowered tailgate. Of course now in my current GMC I can carry 20 sheets of 4x8 1" plywood and close the tailgate... and keep the flat bed cover down as well :D...

    Question on Rubicrawler and stopping

So after posting that I actually went back and did exactly that, broke them in again... from 35-40 standing on the brake went from no squeal to lock up the tires so yeah, should be better. I rarely drive it on the road much and I'm beginning to realize that off road I usually use gearing to slow...

    Can I run a 16x8 wheel?

I went the other way last year, going from 16 to 17... I looked for 15s that I liked but wheel/tire options were way more limited than on 17s.... and the 17's allow for a bigger big brake kit in the front :)

Washington Washington members that live to wheel

Did you mean hefty haul out in Walker Valley ORV? If so I'll be there with other club members. We just ran Sadie Creek ORV Saturday, turned into an 13 hour ordeal lol and the first time I've been out since Thanksgiving weekend when I cracked my upper control arm mount (front). After fixing that...

    Question on Rubicrawler and stopping

So I just finished putting the Jeep back together after installing my Rubicrawler... It all works but I did see that in low/low I can just barely stop the Jeep by literally standing on the brake pedal. Going downhill? Forget it. Not that I'm going anywhere fast but I have to shift to neutral or...

Best tie down for towing? (not serious)

Saw this tie down method on a FaceSmack for sale ad today... I mean... wow.

    Airing Down

trail running... yeah I care... at 8psi I get good traction, at 11 I don't, at 5 I may lose a bead in the rocks... yeah +/- 3psi can matter on the trail.

What should I do with these tie rod ends

So I'm working on replacing my bent tie rod with a super-duper Blaine one... and I found one of the currie ends seems to be missing a zerk, and the other seems to be in bad shape... Are these fixable and if so how, or if I need new ones can someone suggest or link needed parts?

    Waterless car washing

So I can't say I've ever heard of washing a car without water... is it basically spraying some cleaning chemical on and wiping it off? Here, I just go through a car was and drive around a bit... let the wind do the work. And if I need to wash the Jeep I can't image doing it without a pressure...

Metal cutting tools: what's really the best option?

I have an Evolution saw (bought in 2019)... for the money and what I need it for it's been awesome. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WEORGM/?tag=wranglerorg-20

I had to winch today. Got called out.

More like, all 20 vehicles take 8-10 tries, then maybe winch... it's a Bronco thing... :/

    Height adjustable seat brackets

OK cool, both ideas worth looking into, thanks!

    Height adjustable seat brackets

Yep saw that thread but ultimately he was just looking for fixed height risers.

    Height adjustable seat brackets

Thanks but those are kind of 'one time adjustable, looking for a lever actuated adjustment on the fly.

    Height adjustable seat brackets

No, I'm looking to be able to move it up or down depending on who's driving... have/had the risers and they helped me but she still needed her pad.

So we bought a Jeep—2006 LJR

Another photo from Saturday... I was going to grab my bottle jack and do this, but I was told "no, it has to be a hi lift", so I stood back, grabbed a snack and let them to the work.

    Height adjustable seat brackets

So I'm trying to find some seat sliders/brackets/mounts that slide but also have manual height adjustment. My wife needs the seats about 2" higher than I can use and ends up sitting on a thick 'pad' which 1 is a pain in the ass and 2 lift her out of the seat's bolsters, and 3, blocks the seat...

Looking for license plate relocation ideas

I didn't need nutserts, just put a bolt through and a nut on the back side, nothing was blocking once I removed the rear portion of the inner fender liner to gain access.

So we bought a Jeep—2006 LJR

no, first time I've tried it, John went over first and made it but then it was so slick no one else could make it. Walker was super slimy yesterday, upper Timber Tamer was extremely difficult and that little Ridge Ram rock climb was practically impassable.
