I had the same issues with the seatbelt rubbing on my center console ammo box..I went down to my local arts and craft store and picked up some sticky backed felt... cut and wrapped it around the female end of the seat belt and booom...no more scratches.

Looks like it’s just hopes and dreams holding that together….

You maybe slow ….but…if a jobs worth doing, it’s worth doing right. 👍 However …if the jobs not worth it then zip ties work haha

I used bed rug on mine with sound deadening aswell… made a huge difference to the comfort level.

On the return journey home now 😕. Really wanted to go up to the high country but the weather said noooo.. (heavy rain and high wind) So made a detour to this place instead. Back on the ferry tomorrow….then a 9 hour drive home

Ok… only ask as I bumped into a guy here in New Zealand who was from Adelaide…. He said he belonged to a TJ only forum and club in Australia…. As well as being a member on here. I forgot to ask his name though…doh!!

Ok to day was a drive out along Arthurs pass… this road connects the east and West Coast’s of the south Island.. First up was breakfast right next to Lake Pearson… Then off to Castle hill rocks. (no crawling allowed but climbing is encouraged 😉 ) Finished the day off in the high country

Still on my vacation.. the day started off a bit gloomy drove down to the beach first… Then drove up into the hills to see an old WW2 army gun placement…

Took a ride up in the hills above Christchurch today then drove down to the river and hired a kayak with my daughter. Ate food at this amazing indoor market…

My dad told me his brake pads needed changing so did that yesterday… thought you guys would get a kick out of my dad‘s car. ….. it’s known in the family as the ‘Pope Mobile’ 🤣🤣and he bought us a limo pizza to say thanks…( yes more pineapple haha)
