Turned out to be the idler pulley. I took the belt off, spun the idler pulley and boom. Bearing grinding noise. Easy 10 minute fix. Now she purrs nicely.

I am pretty sure it is a crack. I took a really good picture. Were you not able to zoom in on the large picture? I can feel with my fingernail that there is a groove/crack all the way through it. Thanks for the response.
