Is it possible to remove the upper casing and the lower casing for the transfer case, and reseal it put it back together and all that? Do i need anything for it?

I just bought a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with 140,000 miles. I have been doing lots of research to learn the in and outs of the vehicle. However since I'm not familiar with the quirks and parts of everything quite yet. After a good hour drive to bring it home I started to notice a really slow leak...

Every time it rains my floor is wet. My soft top is on correctly. I have seen utubes about a clogged drain and I don't believe this to be the case with my jeep. I have taken it apart to check. suggestions please?
