Hey everyone, I am trying to replace my bad oil pressure sending unit on my 02 wrangler. I have the new one in, and got the deep well socket needed. However I cannot get the socket onto the old sending unit to remove it because of some metal from the body in the way. Anybody been down this road...

Recently I noticed a ticking coming from my engine which I thought was a lifter. Upon investigation I realized it was coming from, what I believe to be, the oil pressure sensor. It's a small grey plug that sits up to the right of the oil filter. I noticed a little weeping of oil coming from it...

Sooo every time I start my tj the oil pressure does not read at all, I shut her down and restart and it registers normal. This is how it goes every time without fail. I changed the sending unit so now I'm wondering if its the guage.
