sport bar padding

What’s the secret to getting new roll bar (or sport bar) pads onto the front section? I can’t seem to get it to slide over without catching the padding and tearing it up.

Looking for a set of the pads to cover the sport bar or roll bar on my '97. PO must have thrown them out and looking to replace them. Not overly picky on colors just as long as they aren't too weathered. Let me know what you're looking for on price. If you have a sound bar for my year let me...
