tire noise

If anyone was running a mud terrain and then upsized to a bigger one, did it get louder or was it the same as the previous tire?

Mine tj is a stock 2000 with a 1.25 body lift, 1 inch wheel spacer on jk 16x9 rims with 245/75/16, want to go bigger and wider looking at 305/70 or 315/75 tires. Do some off road but mostly daily, looking at different brands anyone like the radars? What have you found that you like and why? Any...
