So I am new to the jeep forum but not new to keeps my first car growing up was a 02 jeep Tj and sold it to get a 2021 gladiator (I hated it) so I bought my first car from high school back (same VIN) 3 years later because I like doing the work on my own and working on a car not a computer. So I have ran into a problem that I can’t seem to figure out my 02 jeep Tj 4.0 was having problems it starts great sounds great and after driving 5-10 minutes shuts off while driving and does not want to crank back up for about 20 ish minutes starts back up and runs. (No air is in the fuel lines) I have replaced a good bit trying to find the problem such as the fuel pump, injectors, spark plugs, Throttle sensor, Idle Air Controller, Map sensor and, the crank position sensor. The engine light is NOT on. I am wondering if there is any advice for other possibilities of what could be going on thank you.

Bit of a wild theory but have seen something similar. In this case there was something in the fuel tank that migrated over the outlet and cut the fuel supply. Once the vehicle had stood for a while it floated away and the car would start again, only to cut out when the object got sucked over the outlet again. How it got in there is a good question but that was the problem.
But he did replace the fuel pump. I think he would’ve seen something that large hanging out in the fuel tank during that process.

You would think so but nevertheless, the symptoms fitted and I was not to know he had cleaned the tank at the same time. Does sound as if something is restricting fuel supply and self correcting when the engine stops running. Almost like a feed pipe collapsing. No engine light suggests it is a fuel supply issue or something else not sensor related.
