03-06 seat bracket install in 99 TJ?

That is a release cable for the tumble portion. I DO have a picture of that....

This is from "above" or more correctly, if you removed the seat padding, you would see this.

EDIT - I just read your post again. They probably just look different because of the pic being taken from above. (Wow. You were that crazy man that redid his entire seats foam huh?! Good job!)

I'm pretty sure those are 97-02 seats. My new ones I'm trying to put in are 03-06. Completely different bracket. But thanks to your post I was able to figure out where the cable went on. Pretty simple. Much thanks for the pics.

Anyone know if 03-06 seats came in dark grey and black? Or just dark grey? These seats were supposed to be black. Looked black in the pics from the junkyard. But they are definitely grey. At least dark grey. Which is what the originals are now. But I was hoping for black.

Those are my seats...They are most definitely from an 04. The driver's and passenger's seat brackets look completely different, but your new seats should be very identical to the pictures of the seats I provided.

They are for sure. I was just thrown off at first when looking down thru what should have been the foam. lol.

Thanks for all the help guys. Assuming I have no problems with the Big Boy brackets. I'll post some pics when I get the seats in.
