Hello all, I have an 06 4.0 LJ 6 speed. The other day I jumped on the turnpike it was 100degrees and windy here in Oklahoma. I had replaced rear u-joint between drive shaft and transfer case few months prior. Going 65-70 and to the floor in 5th gear fighting the wind boom! I thought the motor went, Jeep was still running, got underneath u-joint granaded, drive shaft on the ground, Jeep started idling rough died and restarted figured heat, took rear drive shaft off drove home in 4high about 6 miles. Jeep really running rough now and squealing now coming from clutch. Had lean codes, and so decided to tackle motor first, replaced entire exhaust eliminate cats, replaced o2 sensors still running lean, replaced spark plugs, replaced map and tps sensor still running like crap and now getting a backfire, no vacuum leaks detected, need help please I stumped. Gotta get her running right then can move on to clutch and install new Adam’s rear drive shaft. Thank you for any help!
