So I've been lurking on this forum for the last 3 months before even posting because I was soaking up knowledge before diving into a bunch of repairs that this jeep needed. I'm not new to jeeps or offroading as I had a 07 JK when they first came out (not a great intro to jeeps as many of you already know, I was very unimpressed, and didn't come back to jeeps for 15 years) and have had quite a few pre '73 full size chevy blazers in my youth, tundra's etc. So the story with this jeep. My wife and I picked up a new jeep gladiator mojave and spent 2 weeks in Joshua tree in plam dessert just driving all over having the time of our lives. The wife loved when we hit sections with rocks and had to crawl through, me I did not love the idea of hitting my deductible on our insurance so as soon as we got back I found this 06 jeep tj had lots of upgrades already but had been hit on the front axle causing some serious damage, I think most folks would have run from it, it was a steal at 8k so I got it. It already had a bunch of new upgrades ford 8.8 trussed axle trussed swap, all new suspension, Rubicon express springs, Core4x4 adjustable control arms, 35" all-terrains but the front axle was toast. So in the last few months I did:
teraflex SYE
tom woods rear driveshaft
barnes 4wd belly skid
artec trussed dana 30 (new knuckles, spicer ball joints)
lock right locker up front
4.56 yukon gears
whole front steering components (wj upgrade)
stereo setup (kenwood touchscreen gps, kicker speakers and 8 inch powered underseat sub) gotta have tunes.

that's a very interesting color,
I kinda like it
Yeah the previous owner had the whole thing raptor lined and was a huge University of Tennessee fan.. the raptor liner is cool, I can literally power wash it with no soap and it's clean but looking up the vin it was a light khaki from the factory which is also an awesome color.
