You're not going to get much recommendations from people here since not many have the 4 cyl and even less have the 4 cyl & auto.
Again use the gear calculator to see what different gear ratios are going to do. And the other thing is don't be scared to REV the piss out of that 2.5. With the AX5 manual I use to take mine up to 5K RPM's all the time.
WTF???? $4400 for the super35 & a regear?? A Super 35 is only $1400 or so and gears for the front aren't that much.

I would enjoy you Jeep as is, before spending lots of money. I know a guy with 35s and a lifted stock geared 2.5 and he bashes the crap out of it offroad. He never breaks axle shafts because it doesn't have enough power with stock gearing. He loves it and has more fun than me.
Also all of this probably isnt gonna happen for a year anyway, Im planning on doing this stuff next year when i have semi sufficient funds and I'm gonna need new tires next year anyways.

Let's just say i do get 35s next year when i get new tires, would i be better off getting 35x10.5xr15 because they arent as thick?
