I have an 06 rubicon manual, looking at 2 inch body lift. which one should I get and do I need motor mounts as well. Is there a complete kit that you would recommend. Going to keep the suspension stock, maybe add a 3/4 spacer to the front and add rancho 5000 shocks. any comments on this set up or changes. Just looking for advice.....Thanks:)

While 1-1.25" body lifts are commonly installed and popular on TJs, 2" and 3" body lifts are not recommended. They're not only a PITA to install, they also cause shifting issues for both the transmission and tcase.

Small suspension lifts are the way to go when you need more than an inch of additional tire clearance.

What size tires do you want to run

don't install a 2" body lift and don't install Rancho 5000 shocks

install a 1.25" aluminum puck body lift and Rancho 5000X shocks

Looking at 31 to 32 inch tires, I have some sag on the front springs and was thinking about jks coil overs for the front and adding a better shock than stock to the TJ. I would like to set the jeep up for overlanding and trails ….not going to rock crawl. I guess my question should be....can I modify the stock suspension with better components or should I upgrade to an ome 2 inch lift. Thanks again
