2002 PCM in a 2004?

It seems to me I read here that a 2002 PCM programmed for a 4.0 automatic will work fine in a 2004 TJ with a 4.0 for someone who wants to convert to the 32RH. Is that right? If so that also means to me that a wire from the PCM's torque converter output would have to be added to allow it to control the 32RH's lockup circuit for its lockup torque converter.

What does @Wranglerfix say?

Being as though the 97-03 models use a ECM and TCM setup whereas the 05-06 has it all in one PCM, I have a hard time believing it will work. Maybe I’m wrong?

Thank you Chris though the TCM and PCM are separate until 2005 and the 32RH doesn't use or need a TCM.

I don't know, that's why I'm asking if the 2002 PCM will work in a 2004. I'm fairly certain I read here where it does but I just need to verify it. I'd call Mark but I know I'd be on the phone laughing with him for 30 minutes lol.

Sometimes there is an issue with guages not working when you jump years. I will verify and get back to you this afternoon.
