2002 TJ stock front bumper

I have a Stock front bumper and was wondering if I can mount a winch to it?
Will it be strong enough to use it ? I don't want to pull it off the jeep or damage it.

You'll be just fine. The winch mounts to a mounting plate that attaches to the frame using the four upper bumper mounting bolts and doesn't tie in to your bumper. Use grade 8 bolts to attach the mounting plate.
