2004 Rubicon... can I pass this up?

It is set up to flat tow also: Tow light connection. Even-brake cable (goes through the firewall and attaches to the brake pedal. Tow bar mount.
Even if it's not a Rubicon, I would still love to have it. Bargain for a lower price if it isn't.

If it isn't rusted.

Ok, so still kicking this around. I had put it off and hadn't gone to look at it....but the guy who has it (a friend of my boss) brought it by today. It is definitely a Sport, not a Rubicon. Since I originally posted, he took off the plow (I didn't want it anyway) and removed the tow bar mounts and wiring. It is very, very clean. No signs of rust on the frame. I checked in the holes, didn't feel anything. The wheels/tires are 2017 takeoffs and have 3,000 miles on them. Has hard top and soft top. Seats are great shape, no tears, stains, etc. NADA with auto, hard top and the low miles is $11,600. He isn't in a rush to sell it, but said he'd take $12k. It's at just over 48,000 miles as of today. I've been looking and even though he's above NADA, for the miles and condition, I haven't seen anything else close. Worth the $12K? Thanks for your help fellas

I'd offer him $10k cash, saying that's all you have and offering it to him right then. Then if he gives you a firm no, say you can "borrow the extra $1000" but $11k is the absolute highest you can go. Like Rick does at Pawn Stars haha.

A 2004 is a very good year, I wouldn't suggest even making an offer for a 2005 or 2006 which can have some potentially not-so-minor issues.

I don’t think that Rubicon decal is legit. The spacing of the letters is not the same as on the decals of my 2006 although I suppose the decals could have changed.
