2005 hardtop to a 2003?

Will a 2005 wrangler SE hard top (vented) fit on a 2003 Rubicon?

Will a soft top from the 2003 Rubicon fit a 2005 Wrangler SE?

I'm not a soft top expert, but the 2005 hardtop will work on a 2003. Only the connector for the wiper may be different, but you can fix that easily.

and a 2003 hardtop should not have vents, they stopped using them in '03.

It's '97-'02 (vents) and '03-'06 (no vents)

It will fit just fine. The only area of difference might be the rear wiper and rear defrost connectors. But other than that, it fits just fine.

I'm not sure, I like certain things about the hardtop I have no leaks. Someone wanted to trade tops but I think I might just buy a soft top & have both.

Also not a bad way to go. I run a Pavement Ends frame less top. Heavy rain, wind, snow, and no leaks. It will build up some condensation inside but does not leak.

Only way I'd ditch the hard top is if I ponied up for the Bestop Twill top.
