Need to figure out transmission cable length. My 2005 cable looks nothing like other cables I see on this site. I'm thinking the lever on the 545RFE is adjustable
I did an auto swap a few months back and the cable length adjustment was on the shifter itself. Wasn’t hard to do.
The circled bracket is what connects to the cable and slides back and forth. The circled nut is what you loosen to adjust it. I think I set the transmission in drive, shifter in drive, then connected the cable to the bracket and tightened it down
I think on the 545rfe is a splined shaft so I should be able to pull bracket and set length.

Nice job, curious to see how the 545rfe does in your LJ! Are you able to mate your NP241OR to the 545rfe without any adapters?
yep its already bolted up. I cant wait to drive it too. There is like 1/2 inch overall length difference. I measured the the rear output of the 241or to see if I need new driveshafts. I shouldnt need new ones minus the last rock the shaft took in the rear.
