I have a 2006 TJ with 2.4L engine. Six months ago I replaced the fuel pump. Originally tried a cheap Spectra pump and engine would not run well. would not start when hot, and would not run over 55 mph. I then replaced it with a Bosch and it would not start at all. Finally I paid $125 and put a Delphi in it. It started right up and ran really well. Now it has begun to be hard to start again, usually when it is warm. I have to crank it hard and pump the accelerator a lot of times. It then slowly tries to start several times before it will continue to run. One started it runs great. In a possibly related problem, It recently failed NC emissions test. It displayed P2074 and P0172 error codes. Finally, I looked at the exhaust system and found that the o2 sensor on the catalytic converter is broken off. I cannot find the other end of the wire. Does anyone have any ideas?
