Don't forget, you are supposed to only check the 32RH ATF level with the transmission in Neutral, NOT Park which will always give you the erroneous indication of being fuller than it really is.

Well, what was the issue? Did the shop get it fixed? Or did you fix the issue yourself?
I have a leaking transmission and it is slipping a bit too. I'm hoping the pan gasket change this weekend will allow the fluid levels to be at the proper levels, but I'm also researching other possible issues.
Multiple seals were leaking. they pulled the tranny (yes i am old) and put all new seals on including the main seal which was leaking a little engine oil.
Been about 4 weeks and all dry.

The pump/input seal is only one that is a real pain, since you have to drop the trans & remove the torque converter. The others can be done just by removing the transfer case. You can have had a lot of birthdays and still do that one.

they probably did, but i bent over and took it like a man.
