4.0 Engine Swap Question

So I have a 2000 TJ 4.0. Will a 2004 4.0 drop in without having to put in a new computer and switching out all the sensors and such to 2004?

If you are changing the long block yes it is a drop in. Use the 2000 existing intake exhaust ignition. Take all the accessories off the original. Just swap blocks.

would it matter if the 04 was a Rubicon and my 2000 is a sport?
