Hey fellow Jeeper's, I don't usually post a lot here but do follow pretty closely to everyone's threads and comments while giving my input when needed. I am needing help now so hopefully with your top of the echelon knowledge we can figure this out. I was driving home after picking my son up from school going about 35-40 mph and I felt something kind of catch in my transmission and then all of a sudden boom it locks up now after shifting back and forth from reverse to drive no go, I put the Jeep in four wheel low and I was able to creep out of the road and up onto a parking lot. I had the vehicle towed to my house and raised the vehicle up. I am working on a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0 with the automatic 42 RLE transmission with 231 j transfer case I had bearing issues and planetary gear issues in the case but I fixed that already now I'm finding inside the transmission on top of the valve body metal shavings and metal flakes and I have no idea where it's coming from maybe the torque converter maybe not but if you can look at the pictures and give me your most valuable information I would really appreciate it thank you guys
