97-02 Battery Hold Down

I’m looking for a battery hold down bracket and J hooks for an 02 TJ. The OEM bracket was replaced by the previous owner and the replacement doesn’t fit my Odyssey correctly. Are there any options besides the factory OEM that don’t cost over $40?

I see used OEM brackets with hooks for $39 on eBay.

I made my own J hooks out of threaded rod and wingnuts. The bracket could probably be steel or aluminum drilled to fit the J threaded rod

If you haven't found a solution yet, you could order only a used OEM bracket bar. Looks like they're on ebay for $20 and then you can use whatever j-bolts/nuts you currently have. The P/N for the bracket is 5501 4361 (pg 111 in '02 parts list pdf which is found in the resources section of this forum)

I'm also looking for replacements right now and decided to buy the j-bolts, nuts, and bracket for $35 from the deadjeeps ebay page.

Ill post a pic asap but i just used a piece of 2x6 to wedge it in there. Works like a charm!
