Please help. Will a 91 xj straight 6 fit in my Tj wrangler 97?! Will there be mounting issues? And would I need a different transmission( mines standard)
Appreciate any help!

Not all year 4.0s are interchangeable, a lot has to do with where the accessories mount. See if this helps:

Yeah, the little bit I found on the web, was also leaning towards this as well.
