A/C only blows on top setting

hi guys, I have a 97 Wrangler TJ 4.0l manual Jeep. When I turn on the A/C-Heater it only blows when I put it on the highest setting. I pulled the dash apart & checked all connectors on the back of the original A/C panel & it all moves freely.
Has anyone else experienced this & if so can you advise what I may of missed for it to only work on 1 setting

I had the exact same problem on my F150 earlier this year: blower motor resistor. Sounds more complicated than it actually was to fix.

TJs have a similar component with the same name[/url]. Try giving that a shot.

Thanks guys. I did not realize that it would still work on any setting if the resistor was shot. I have found a YouTube clip, looks simples

Should be easy part swap.

High speed uses the full battery voltage so it effectively bypasses the resistor.

I changed that today, but didn’t fix the issue
