Advice on 5.2 swap engine wiring harness into 2002 TJ

Which transmission are you going to use? Manual or automatic?
That plays into which way you are going to wire things up.
OK if you.re going with the manual then it's easier to use your Jeep wiring harness and move the needed items of to it.
You'll need to move 4 injector wires over. Plus any of the sensors that aren't on the Jeep harness.
Make sure you pay attention to the sensor wiring because one plug IAC I think or TPS the wires need to be switched.
You need to get the FSM for you Jeep and the truck and then look at your pinouts and figure out what needs to be moved. The FSM's for your Jeep are in the resource area and if you go to the Dodge Ram website you can find the FSM for you Dakota.
Also you'll need a 23 spline input gear for your t-case. You'll also most likely need a Dodge Ram PCM since the Dakota may have a BCM.
You'll need a 98-01 PCM as the 97 PCM won't talk to your dash and 2002 and newer are PCI & your TJ is CCD.
