Hello all, first time/long time!

Building an 06 TJ with 4.0. I have pretty much all the parts ready to go:
Rusty's 4.5 inch long arm lift
Ford 8.8 set up for a TJ
Dana 44 out of a Rubicon

I am getting ready to put this all together and get to work! Exciting, took a long time to get this point. I need help figuring out the wheels. I have stock fenders for now, planning on putting on 35x12.5 tires on a 17 inch rim. Does 4 or 4.5 inches sound about right for the backspacing? I'd prefer to not rub!

TIA and thanks for such a great forum, I have learned a ton on here!

Also, it appears most wheels are out of stock! Any leads on some that might be in???

Most of us on 35x12.5" tires run 3.75" backspacing, even then you may need to adjust the steering stops with a washer to not rub on your sway bar. However that does push them out a little more - so depending on local laws and what fenders you have that may come into play.

Have you found any tires in this size in a C load rating? I have only looked at a couple brands but they’re definitely less common than for a 15” wheel.
