Has anyone installed the AEV highline hood with JCR highline fenders? Looking for feedback before I pull the trigger on the hood. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if it's because my Jeep is tweaked by 1/4" or not but when I installed highlines both sides of the hood needed to be cut to slightly different heights even with both highlines set to the same height. A preformed hood may not have fit so well.

JCR highline instructions are set up for cutting your hood. Your best bet would be to call JCR.

You should buy the hood and then figure out the fenders then. You can Always resell the hood..

Hoods are tough to find and generally pretty expensive (1k+) if you have a good deal I’d pick up the hood and see if it works

I just did exactly that with the duraflex version of the AEV hood. The hood is of mediocre fit and quality. The JCR fenders look great but are SUPER HEAVY in steel. Spring for aluminum if can.

Pics of my setup are here:
