Hi. 2006 wrangler tj. I’ve read the other threads, but I don’t have a mechanical bone in my body, or the tools if I did. I’m living in the middle of nowhere and don’t have the time or money to bring it into a shop. No luck through word of mouth or local forums locating someone who can troubleshoot this. Is there an easier fix besides instrument clusters and clock springs? I tried removing fuse 4 but it didn’t remove the annoying beep beep beep of the airbag warning. Any suggestions on eliminating the auditory component, or just to disengage the beeper speaker entirely? The light can go on and off without driving me crazy, but the beep has got to go. I know I sound like a incompetent idiot on a forum of capable do-it-yourselfers, but I’m at the point where I don’t even want to drive it. Thanks!
