Hi all,
I decided to take on the task of adding A/C to my non factory A/C 2002 TJ. After taking the dash out to get the hvac box out and installing the evaporator and putting it all back together, I turned the ignition on to ensure the blend door would actuate. Good news is, it did. Bad news, the airbag light is on. The only airbag wires I had to touch were the one connector behind the glove box, and the on off switch at the console. The bulb in the on off switch light up when turned to the off position so I don’t think that is an issue. The horn also works so I’m not confident it’s the clock spring. That being said, before I did anything with the dash, the airbag light would occasionally come on when driving or sitting still (didn’t matter) for about a minutes and then go off again. At this point I’m worried I snagged a wire getting the hvac/dash all put back together. Any suggestions of where I should go from here? Checking connections, taking the dash out again to inspect wires? Any help is appreciated!
