Precisely why. Rather than offer both, they deleted the flare holes. I do not use a flare, I install the armor, reach through the holes from the back side with a scratch awl and mark them that way.
I'll be using this process when the Savvy armor gets here for the TJ. I'll also be leaving the aluminum raw this time. Very glad you posted the picture, because the recent TJ I picked up is Silver and now I can better visualize what it will look like!

BTW, I had a chance to chat with Gerald the other day. I called and left a message about needing to get an automatic transmission mount for the manual UA system I have. Within an hour of leaving a message, he called me back and they're going to send me the mount with my order. I let him know how much I appreciated the products I've had in the past and why I continue to buy more. Bottom line, my customer experience with Savvy has always been excellent!
