I was able to snag a new Bosch fuel pump for my Tj. After installing it I found out it dribbled with pressure. Dud! Had to put my delphi back in. Now I'm in the process of trying to clean it up so I can return it.
Anybody else get a dud new Bosch Tj fuel pump?

Returning it is one thing but cleaning it up, to return it wouldn't be on my list of things to do today, or ever.

That is probably what carid is hoping. They sent me a ups tag. I told them gas had been run through it. They basically said so.
I swapped my old pressure regulator out with the new one just to rule that out. Didn't make a difference. So I figured the pump is weak. But I noticed while running vinegar through it to clean it for shipping the cylinder filled up and ran over. I wondered if the pump is good but a blockage or bad o,ring going from the pump to the regulator. Has anyone ever taken one apart? I really would like to keep it if it's something simple. I have an old pump I could look into.
I wouldn't run a pump after putting acid through it even if I did find some simple solution to what the problem was. Once you put vinegar in that thing, she done.
