ASD fuse gone bad

Quick question to anyone who has dealt with this. My 30amp ASD fuse in the fuse box under the hood has been kicking out and killing my jeep ever since I got stuck in a little mud the other day. After I replaced my fuse and ran it for a day it kicked out again but now my volt meter on the dash says that my battery isnt charging past 12 volts. I can let it idle all day long but once i try to drive to work it will kill my battery and throw that fuse.ive checked all my wiring and grounds and cant find anything bad. My question is will a bad alternator cause this issue. It neverkicked the fuse out until I got stuck.

Also I did wire up a 25 inch light bar for the bumber and 2 cubes for the a pillar but I used the supplied wiring harness and relays. Ive had the disconnected since the fuse first kicjed back out

An alt can certainly be low charging. Put your multimeter on the battery posts. Not the terminals. Check the voltage when engine off and when running. That will let you know what is going on. If you have a low charge rate see what it is outputting at the alt. post. Then you can see if it is a battery fault, alternator fault, or wiring fault. If you have good (13.5V or more) charging at the battery posts then I would look elsewhere.

Thanks @Goatman . I'm just not very good at wiring which is why I hope its just a bad alt. I will check at the battery and at the alt and post my findings tomorrow morning after work (I'm working 12's this week). But my big concern is why my asd fuse would blow everytime I start to drive down the road. Does anybody know where this fuse is connected to and what it does?
