For the first time in almost 50 years, I no longer have State Farm insurance. At one time, State Farm provided auto. motorcycle, home owners, and life insurance policies for me and my wife.
They screwed up our life insurance policies about 30 year ago and the policies lapsed without my knowledge. We got life insurance elsewhere. Shortly after that, we took our home owners elsewhere. About 20 years ago we moved our car insurance.
State Farm was hard to beat for motorcycle insurance. Two years ago, I finally had a claim. Initially they denied it, but I was more focused on my physical injuries to get too involved in the motorcycle damage claim. About two months later, I'm starting to heal and dig into the claim. Also about that time, my claim gets forwarded to the PA insurance commission. It seems, if a claim doesn't get paid in so many days, they get involved.
Within two days I received payment. Not only for my motorcycle, but also for my riding gear, towing, and storage. The last two items, they originally said weren't covered.
When I bought a replacement motorcycle (March 2022), my State Farm agent was doing the no "in person" meeting/everything by email because of Covid BS. That was the last straw.
