The "Summer of the Socket" is upon us and I have been away for a while.
I have a big project this weekend with removing and replacing the driver's side upper and lower ball joints, ALL U-joints and Inner and outer front axle seals. I have done all the necessary research, and with a GIANT Thank You to this site, I have collected all the necessary tools and parts with high confidence. The one uncertainty that I have is the type of fluid that was available to me while making an impulse visit to the friendly clueless neighborhood parts store. Below is some info of the type of Jeep I have, the fluid that was purchased, and then below that are some fluid types from a couple of sites that differ. My question, is the fluid that I purchased adequate for my year?
